The Tri-Vibe is a unique effect designed by Runoffgroove that offers a true vibrato effect plus there is also a phaser (Swirl) and rotary speaker type sound (Whirl)! Controls are Rate and Depth and there is a LED that pulses at the speed of the rate setting.
 
What makes the Tri-Vibe unique is that it does not use a BBD (bucket brigade device) to create deep phasing rather than true vibrato, the Univibe is one example of that type. The Tri-Vibe is true pitch vibrato and it can also mix in the dry signal to give more traditional phaser tones like the Phase 45 (Swirl mode)
 
Controls:
Rate- affects the speed of the LFO
Depth- affects the depth of the LFO
 
Mode Switch:
top- Whirl (phaser)
bottom- Swirl(vibrato/phaser)
center- Vibrato
 
The output signal of this pedal is very good, there is not a noticeable difference between the off and on output levels like with some other units I've tried.
